It should be another great season for culture of all kinds in and around Cheltenham – do have a look through the listings section to keep up to date with upcoming events.
If one of your new year’s resolutions is to try something new, read on! CAC’s member organisations offer a huge variety of stimulating and entertaining ways to fill your spare time. In this edition you can read about the programme of events offered by the French Circle – great for brushing up your French language skills. Or how about singing? Cheltenham Choral Society, with its new conductor, is looking for new singers, especially men. Or volunteering? Volunteers are at the core of Cheltenham’s cultural life, and there is no shortage of opportunities to participate. One example is a fascinating report about history unfolding at the hands of a volunteer at The Wilson art gallery and museum, who is transcribing the diaries of the father of polar explorer Edward Wilson.
